Overview
We are looking for an entry level laborer to join our construction team. You will perform various tasks such as loading and unloading materials, digging, cleaning, and assisting other workers. You will work under the supervision of a foreman and follow safety rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from trucks, carts, or wheelbarrows
- Use tools and equipment such as shovels, rakes, hammers, drills, or saws
- Dig trenches, holes, or foundations
- Clean and prepare construction sites
- Remove debris, trash, or hazardous materials
- Assist other workers with various tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
